John studied graphic design at the University of Arizona and then continued his art education studying illustration at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California.

John is one of a select few that is an official fine artist for Walt Disney. His whimsical paintings are sold in galleries and various shops throughout Disneyland and Disney World.

John spent many years as a fashion model and actor living in New York, where he found his love of theater and costuming.
