Sam Trego, President and Executive Producer

Sam started his career when he was chosen at the age of 16 to be a member of the internationally touring performance troupe "The Young Americans." After traveling extensively throughout the United States, performing in this and other performance troupes and Broadway musicals, Sam received a Bachelor of Music degree in 1984 from Oakland University's School of Performing Arts in Rochester, Michigan. Sam made the transition from performer to producer and was hired by Joe Esposito in 1987 to extend the Business Theater concept that Esposito had founded at the MGM Grand/Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas.

Since then, Sam has produced over 5000 corporate general sessions, product reveals, awards banquets, and theatrical productions for clients such as IBM, Honeywell, Samsung, the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Firestone, Continental Casualty Companies, MCI, McDonald's, Pontiac, and many, many more. In 1996 Sam started the troupe now known throughout the world as "iL CiRCo". Also featured in Sam's hit show in it’s 10th year at SeaWorld San Diego "Cirque de la Mer" the troupe has played to over 8 million people since it's first show on May 31, 1996 as this highly acclaimed production has won awards throughout the world for it's unique artistry. Sam is the musical composer of the "Viaggio" by iL CiRCo and “Cirque de la Mer” audio soundtracks and has most won Event Solutions Magazine's coveted "Spotlight Award" for the Best Theatrical Producer of 2004.

Sam has been the subject matter of published studies on right brain/left brain thinking and displays an unusual ability of blending the creative with the scientific… the artistic with the mathematic, and has spoken on this subject at events throughout the country. Full time artist, full time CEO, and full time father of a handsome and talented young boy, Sam has a passion for children and education, for special needs children and adults, and has dedicated his life to furthering the cause of equal rights for all people on planet earth. Sam is currently busy touring with the theatrical production of “Viaggio” by iL CiRCO and preparing an extensive 2011 tour of Latin America with this renown production.
